A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I would ask them. They will certainly know because ... they have lots! :)

I went through the same dilema last yr before buying a puller to access the starter clutch on my '82 1100GK. I just looked at it though and its 35mm, not 30. Recheck what you need and I'll loan you mine for the cost of postage if it'll work.

Yes I know, BB, its an '82 1100EZ with a large taper, welded crank:confused:
I pulled the cover off just to measure the threads and they are 30mm
Maybe someone swapped out the crank in this thing, idk
@ Willie Thanks, but I need a 30mm puller
Nowhere I have seen the 30mm puller does it say that it fits an 1100/1150:confused:

In December ... I have purchased a puller from that vendor which was identified as:
Kawasaki Suzuki GS Flywheel Puller (30mm X 1.5mm).

I also purchased another one from them identified as:
Honda Yamaha 350 Warrior Flywheel Puller[35mm x 1.5mm].

I have not used the 30mm one yet, but have used the 35mm one. :)

I would ask the vendor. They certainly know.

There's a whole world outside fleaBay, you know.

Check Amazon -- that's where I've gotten a few of these. Or Dennis Kirk, or PitPosse.

Normally, the manufacturer's web site will have thread dimensions and photos. But you do have to verify things on your own -- there's very little solid info out there regarding exactly what fits what. You have to look under the stator cover.

Also, an awful lot of people confuse the chain drive 16V 1100E/ES and the shaft drive 8V 1100G/GL/GK.

I found one on Amazon, but they don't ship it to Canada:confused:
If they knew if it fit the gs1100/1150 why wouldnt they say that in the listing?

may i add that a non factory puller may get destroyed using it on the large taper cranks......
the big cranks are some bad mo-fo's to get the rotor's off.
i highly recommend a factory puller to use even if you have to beg or barrow/steal ect....

because all they want is your money...no nothing sellers.
the 30mm does fit 1100/1150 even though the 1100 is an 83 only:rolleyes:
