A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Had more pieces done as well, but you get the idea. The guy did a great job and gave me a great price. I only had PC on a part of the swing arm pivot threads, but a Dremel with a wire brush and that was cleaned up in about a minute. Everything else was done right. Dropped it off Wednesday afternoon and picked it up Sunday afternoon.

Very nice wish I had the time to strip and money to do it. terrylee

Hey TL, this wasn't that bad on price. I had the frame, swing arm, center stand, battery box, electrics panel, upper triple, motor mounts, and a few other pieces. He blasted and PC'd them all for $225. Worth every penny to me. He also worked on the frame where he found some rust and told me that if he found any cracks that they would weld and clean them up. That was all included in the price. Great guy to boot.

Hopefully, he will be doing the "right" thing and De-L ing it.
Otherwise, it is nice looking junk! :p

L is for "lovin'" my bike and doing a stock restoration. I will hang onto the "L."

Maybe one day I'll be as cool as some of you guys and stumble upon a good deal on an 1100G.

Another great example of the beauty of powder coating. The time and effort saved plus the durability..$225 is a rippin' deal.

Looks nice. $225 is a great price. In my area the price quotes I received when investigating PC were double that.

it'll fit right in, next to that pink beast in the 2nd picture. :p
powdercoating is the schnizzle.

Nice.

I was wondering when I'd get that comment.

The pink beast is an awesome bike though. Lean forward handle bars, flat comfy seat, same size wheels, ....wait....could it be a....... G..irl's bike?

:p:p:p

Dang,

That is less than 1/2 what it would cost in Vancouver for just the powder coat.

Looks like a good job.

Just ran across this thread again. How is the frame holding up, almost 1 1/2 years later?

A guy has had my wheels for a couple months, were supposed to done by now.
I may send mine to KY, next time!!

You cannot beat powdercoating for looks and durability. I've had my 750 frame done

You'll notice that the frame has been braced too. Probably not strictly necessary on a standard 750 but it looks cool.

Some other bits were done too
