Right guys I need some help here. I have replaced the front master cylinder for a Kawasaki ER6 unit, this has a switch built in but when wired up is not bringing the brake light on. The resistance when closed is 15ohms (and zero when open circuit), am I on the right track by thinking that I need to put a resistor across the switch to bring the resistance up enough to allow the brake light to come on????? If so what size of resistor would I be looking at....if anyone can help that would be great. I can always use a banjo bolt pressure switch but thought I'd use the one on the master cylinder if I could.
cheers for any help
