A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I have a 84 gs750..New rings and hone.. head rebuilt.. 34 mikuni with a big bore kit..Having problems with fuel..I broke the motor in and it was all fine.Went out a few times no problems..Seem to have problem with fuel flow..When i put it on prime off the carbs it runs fine..When i have the fuel line on the carbs it won`t flow.I take the hose off a little to let air out(i think) it flows again..Then after a few minutes it stops working again.I took the cap off my tank and nothing changes. My bike ran a little hotter today..One time it stopped i was at 114c and the other time 127c..Well if the vapor gauge is right.I went out tonight and it ran around 101 and no problems.Am i getting a vapor lock or something through the carbs..Any ideas and help would be great..It seems the bike is running a little hot???.

Prime allows the fuel to flow without restriction into the carbs while it won't flow on "on" or "reserve" without a vacuum. Have you tested the petcock by applying suction on the vacuum line to ensure it is working correctly?

"Vapor lock" happens when the fuel pump does not have liquid fuel to pump.

Since our "fuel pump" is gravity, it's kind of hard to have vapor lock.

I know that prime does that..It does work when i don`t have the fuel line on the carbs..When its on prime hooked to the carbs it won`t flow?.I ordered a new petcock and i am picking it up friday.Do you think it's a petcock problem or vapor lock?.It seems the prime works when the bike is cold but when it heats up a little it stops
