I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Hey guys quick q.
I tore down everything off my engine on 750L last night so I could do a through cleaning of my engine with a wire brush and a power drill with a wire brush attachment. Unfortunately after I put everything back together I noticed that the bike would not go into first when off(it used to easily before). So I turned the bike on fired it up and put it into first. Shifted into first fine but the gear indicator wasn't lit up. Put it on the center stand shifted through all the gears, shifted fine again but no lights. The only light that works is the neutral light. Any susgestions? Looks like a ground but not sure where that ground is located. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

If you disconnect the indicator switch formt he harness you can place the transmission in each gear and check for continuity.

I had one that cracked near one fo the mounting screws and it was slowly leaking oil and would not make contact with the grounding pin underneath.

There is a series of tests in the manual
The degreasing should have done nothing to the shifting though.

Did you uses a nasty pressure washer?

Ohhhhh No pressure washer. I used a gentle steam of water to take off the degreeser I used compressed air to clear off all the wire brush debris. I'll check the connections keep you posted thanks RJ!
