Getting the pilots out?

Going to sound daft but is there a set length and size screwdriver that you need to get that fits the pilot jets slot and is long enough?

I dont have any flat bladed screwdrivers. I use these sorts of screwdriver kits.

Grinding one down to fit isnt going to work as they dont do them long enough. I need a starting point of which to buy and then grind down.

Can anybody help here?

If not, does anybody know if you can clean the pilot jets in the carb with carb cleaner or the like?

Pilot jets aren?t usually that hard to remove...just get a flat blade screwdriver and taper/grind it back to fit perfectly in slot. Mixture screws are usually tougher to extract

A driver that fits the slot perfectly and will not be prone to stripping.

Get a set of these for your plain screwdriver needs. The Philips drivers won't be any use on JIS screws as you probably know by now, though.

If you need a longer, thin carb screwdriver, you have to look further.
