GS 550E 1980 - Decals

As I am on a role gaining info I wandered
does anyone know what the original decals look like
for my bike ? It is red.

I attach a pic of what is on it now . It looks like
3 coloured strips (but made up of a single and a double).
I actually quite like it.

q) where to get these in uk ?

q) any one got a pic if a 1980 gs550 with stock decals ?

For the Uk, there there 3 options in 1980 - black, red or blue. All the same style of decal, but obviously different colours.

Yours isn't an original UK scheme. Was the bike imported at some stage? Either that, or it's been repainted.

it must has been resprayed but done well. but agree
the decals are not original but they kinda work.

I think its candy red for the original colour.

I suppose I must return to original but damned expensive.
albeit easy style of decals I have to fit.

toured Europe with the bike as is ..... if I was hell bent
on current decals 3, simple lines, anyone know where
I could get those ?
