DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

..., a suicide shifter on right ...

THAT is going to be downright ... interesting. :-\\\

I have always seen shifters on the LEFT side of the bike.

Are you actually going to reach ACROSS the tank to shift while keeping your right hand on the throttle?

Well...no, the shifter will be on the right side. So that will be no problem. I will think about this though, i have 2 options, the second one is without the shifter...and i would really like to have one, just for kicks.

This option wouldve been better with shifter...the first idk...because of the handlebars, i wont make them apes, i keep them as they are, so i think ill make a right shifter and put it on see how it goes on that.

The "demonic" one i think i like it more than this pic though. I can make it a shifter on right also...but i dont know how it looks.

First startup after engine rebuild, compression test 11 - 11.4 - 12 - 13.5, i think the default compression ratio is 9.6. Either the rings are fresh or the compressmeter is busted.

Congratulations with getting it running and ride able! Much more work than I am willing to complete on a bike. The 700 is a US only bike. I'm sure there is a story here. I hope you have checked that the fuel mixture is not really lean with the mufflers removed. Thank you for posting here.

It is a bit loud, but very pleasant sound. When i ride in city i tend to change the gear earlier a bit so the sound stays at a limit. It's a rat, survival, or whatever Mad Max would think about it :D...i planned it to make it loud and mean.

Cheers thanks for wathing and for replies !

Hey guys i have a little "problem". It did happen before and i checked the timing right yesterday. It wont go over 8000 rpm and it stalls there with my throttle at 3/4 in 5 gear. If i pull the throttle more it starts to idle high, makes sounds like its at its higherst rpm. I should check the pulsar sensors if it makes any difference. I saw the 2-3 magnetic sensor on my pulsar its 1-2 mm off.

What do you say guys? I don't want to dissasamble everything for nothing.

BTW : Everything is clean, sparks, carbs (syncronized), etc. The only thing is that tiny sensor.

Thank you for your time ! :D

So you are right. I run a bit lean, my sparks are white 80% and a bit of grey here and there. So the problem you think it is are my jets? I did 3 turns on my carb. a/f mixture screw (from above) because i was running leaner. I will check my pulsar also. What jets should i get? Should i just raise my niddle? I will test different things anyways with this. Thank you sir !

Ok, i made myself with a drill (did this things many times before) a 1.3 mm hole (main jet). The ratio of fuel is much greater than before...i took a ride along with a screwdriver for adjusting the a/f screw. I took it from 1 - the engine accelerate by itself and dies, at 2 the engine makes like before, at 2.5 like before but better acceleration, at 3 and 4 it starts to make like before at half throttle.

Should i lower the needle? My spark plugs are black now (before were white). Can someone tell me a good setup on these carbs with my main jet ? What should i try. Thank you !

BTW : found out what its called "bogging engine". It bogs, thats the word :D...but my sparkplugs are black now.
