A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I'm impressed. Initially I suspected this bike was going to be a pipe dream but now that you are getting parts and fabbing them up I'm excited to see where you go with this. I'm in til the end.

Obviously I like what you're building as you can see by my 82 750

Thanks guys , I am getting more items together , hope to get the engine in soon as I need to make the engine mounts from scratch after doing some templates

from a previous build i made some chinese k8 mirrors and some gs500 mirror mounts , this is a maybe use on the build but not sure yet .
i do like the new and the old look so it will be a maybe

i needed to make the bandit 1200 loom fit the gs frame and with that in mind , i bought a genuine battery box as its behind the side panels .
my idea was to fit starter relay ecu , fuse box flasher relay here , so made a few alloy brackets these will be powder coated later

got my shocks with the 20mm screw in extensions on to get an idea of the look (small sticker to make me smile, a cheat but for my amusement)

trying to run before i can walk , exhaust is going to be a thorn in my side but i have a friend who can do me a one of link pipe .

"if it was easy to build then every one would do it " the challenges of bike building make us stronger

carbon rear numberplate holder and (turn signals are only temp to test the loom)

my oilcooler fits on original mountings in the frame result

sidestand and zx10 r indicators turned up today

timeline today 03/09/14 in uk date format .

i started the build by buying the frame on the 12/08/14 so i am giving my self a gentle reminder that it will be painted and on the road by christmas holidays

robinsons sent me rear light screws x4 and fitted my preferred indicators

engine needs to come out again as it catching on the side stand mount thats welded to the frame

looks like i will be able to use the headers but will need a new short link pipe
