Hi
I just bought a GS1000 G (1980) at a local dealer and the bike is in good condition with all stock parts. The performance is kind of weak from idle to about 5000 rpm - after that it feels like it should.
The carbs look clean on the outside but something must be wrong.
Any ideas what to check for first ?
It feels like it runs to lean or the pilot jets are dirty or something.
I cannot seem to find the pilot screws on the carbs and looking into
the Clymer manual did not help much either since there is no detailed
carb picture for the 1980 model ...
If somebody has any ideas please let me know.
