So maybe this isn't the right place to post this, but didn't know where else to post. Can you guys with windshields post a pic of your bike with the model of windshield. I want to put a windshield on my bike but would like to see how they look first.

The bike there that would most closely resemble yours would be my wife's 850L. It has a National Cycle Plexifairing 3.

If that is too large for you, look at my son's 650L, it has a National Cycle Street Shield EX.

My 850G'K' has a Pacifico AERO, which is a frame-mounted fairing that is a bit smaller than the typical Vetter Windjammer.

Thanks Steve! I'm liking your sons windshield. On a side note, is the petcock on your wife's bike a direct fit? Where did you get it? My 79 apparently has an 80's tank with the no-lever petcock and I'd like to get something exact fit, just not the oem.

Unless you go with a Pingel (brand) petcock or an adapter plate, only an '80 style petcock will fit on an '80 tank.

They work just fine, it's just that they are such a pain to have to use a tool to move it from RUN to PRIme.
What's wrong with yours that you feel the need to change?

Steve, I've just read many threads on the 80's style rebuilds not lasting. Where did you get the sweet bags for the 850L ?
