    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

CLiff has posted the 850 manual link I also have one for the GS1000E/S/L on PDF if anyone needs it

Is there anyway that we (thats the preverbrial we at The GS resources) could have a members only area that holds all these pdf's of workshop manuals for later reference by members?

Suzuki mad.

I would be interested in a copy of your manual for the gs1000. Please send the link and I will download it.

Thanks

Howard

I would also like a copy, if it is not the low resolution one of 28 megs that is available for download on different sites, as the photos in that one is impossible to use

I'll find some room

Hello friends,

Ms. SqDancerLynn1 has contacted me. I'll touch base with her, get a copy of the GS1000E/S/L manual from here, and post it somewhere for your convenience.

Thank you for your indulgence,

For years I have thought SqDancerLynn was a Mr. yet you always refer to him as a Female. One of us must be wrong:oops:

So nice to meet you!

Hi Mr. arveejay,

Ms. SqDancerLynn1 has become a dear friend of mine. I've even taken my family to see her squaredance club. Ms. SqDancerLynn1 is really good at squaredancing! \\:D/

I'm very glad to have met Ms. Lynn and a couple of others from this community. They're all good people. I look forward to meeting more of you.

By the way, the manual we were talking about is now located here. It's the low-res version, but there's still a lot of information there.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

So is there a Mr. Lynn also or am I that lost in this subject? Just curious, I really did think Lynn was a Mr.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the same 28MB file that, while it contains all the right stuff, has pictures that leave a little to be desired. The 850 (hi-res) manual on my site is 155MB. Well, we tried, didn't we Mr. 80GS1000?

Thank you for your indulgence,

Oh, you wanted pictures too? Some people. ;):lol:

Wonder if there's an original factory manual out there that could be scanned.

A picture is worth....about 19 cents at Wal-Mart!

I *LOVE* pictures! They help me make sense of the words. 8-[

Maybe a good scanned manual will show up. Until then, let's all take our cameras to the garage. \\:D/
