A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

hello everyone new to this sight, took awhile to approve me on the furum, but thats all good, just a few quik questions to all the experts here. well i have a 85 gs700es, i would like to take the fairing off to make it look more like the 700e kindof, but i would like to put dual headlights on it, does anyone know anywhere i could get dual headlights that are dot approved, most are not bright enough for me. another thing that i am wondering about is handlebars. i would like to find a way to mount up bars like mx bars because the ones i have are bent to far back towards me and are really uncomfortable. and third i was wondering what style and years of exsausts will fit on the bike because i do not like the exsaust that is on there it is ugly and sounds like crap. if anyone has any suggestions and pictures that would be much appreciated, also lots of poaple have been telling me cthat the dual headlights are to powerfull and that my bike will only run one

Member Groundshock here is looking to upgrade his E to an ES. Maybe you two can work out some sort of trade?

I have an '85 700E and I put ES bar risers on it because the E risers were too tall and wide for me. I like the feeling of the ES risers compared to the E risers. I think I posted a comparison pic between the two on another thread.

What kind of exhaust do you have now? Is it a 4 into 1 or the stock 4 into 2?

my bike

my bike

it is the original exsaust would like to make it sound better and look nicer, and as for groundshock, i dont know i am a member of a bunch of fourums and not many people will help me out, as for them riser that you have is there any way you can post a pic of them, i hate the way my handlebars are they are almost like they are pointing back at me. its really hard on my wrists cant ride to long or i have shard pains for days . what i would really like is mx style bars if possible, dont know enough about that part of the bike to know if it can even be done, all i know is the ones i have cannot be addjusted to go out straiter and that sucks

carbs

carbs

alos i was wondering about carbsm, cause i just had mine rebuilt twice and my bike wont idle at all i have to keep it revved up at the light so it wont die, and its really annoying because its hard to get it into gear without it dieing , and i end up having tons of cars backed up behind me

Maybe Posplayr will sell you his double headlight off his first generation Gixxer.
