A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I was able to steal this on Ebay. It does a great job of reducing wind on the chest and offering some decent protection.

I have the same screen on my 650. It does a good job of keeping wind of your chest. It creates turbulence around the helmet though, and causes the wind blast to be alot louder.
Back in April I took mine off, and immediately noticed it was quieter. Two days ago I put it back on, and found that I didn't have to hold onto the handlebars as tightly, but it's noisy.

dennis kirk sells something very similiar.....i like the smaller windshields..not quite as goldwingish.....

Whats wrong with wind on your CHest.....
I like to ride with no shirt on with my man mams swinging in the wind
dont you

and pasties with tassles

Hey Doug, do you think that thing would work on a square headlight? I really like the look!

We will have to measure it on the 21st. Good possibility. It came in handy this morning at 45 degrees.
Gotta love fall in New England 8O

I noticed the same thing about the wind. Have that windscreen on my 83 1100E also. I was hoping they would come up with a version with a little flip on the top edge to reduce the helmet noise. I set mine almost vertical once but that made the front end feel a bit squirrely.
Nice thing is that it's very easy to remove or re-install, two thumb screws, leaving the handlebar brackets in place. So you can go with the wind or without easily.

I have that screen
I took it off a Kawasaki Zed thou
but I havnt got the mounts....its smoked (dark) and if any of you guys have that fairing and want a spare Ill send it to you for the postage
