A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

High End Gauges

Some beautiful stuff for the deep pocketed. Have to ask your self if those gauges are really $400 better than the other electronic options? Thanks for the link though.

The GSXR1100 risers at $299 while expensive aren't really out of the ballpark compared to converting your own stock triple tree with aftermarket risers.

Yeah, I thought it would me nice to look at for poops and giggles. I kinda like the instrument display in the mirrors. Very innovative and clean. I just wish somebody would make a set of gauges that were somewhat universally mounted, with normal sized separate electronic speedo (with a sensor at the front wheel) and tach (one wire from the coil is all that is needed to run it), a neutral light, turn signal light, high beam light, and gear indicator. A fuel gauge would be nice too. These items are available as used parts but they are a pain to adapt with oddly shaped indicator light housings and mount brackets, and they all seem to have road rash or sun-faded gauge faces. I just want to be loved, is that so wrong?????!!!!!!!!

Not on "spieglerusa," but was watching a "Beyond Tomorrow" episode with a HUD (heads up display) in a helmet visor. Too freakin cool!

Never have to look down. :D

Probably rank up there with the deep pocket crowd too.

One day.

I know that it sounds like it's more efficient that way but I guess that I'm too old to fool with such nonsense. If I want to know what my speed and rpm are, I'll glance down at my gauges. If I just want to enjoy the open road, I'll look straight ahead and around me.

Only as old as one feels I suppose. :(

I had decide I was getting too old once the young punk driving the baja truck with open headers started driving by every day.

Till, I realized I did the same thing in my hotrod years, way back. :-\\\

Now, if you "poop when you giggle," haven't heard that in a long time, but just relish the moment. :p
