I was told that if my battery doesn't have a sensor (which most newer units do not) that I should ground out the sensor wire. My new battery is now a sealed AGM unit.
I tried to attached the wire itself to the negative terminal of the bike but the light did not go off.
Do I need to cut the resistor out and ground the wire to the negative terminal or some other location or is there a different process?
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks.
