I am still trying to figure out my ignition trouble. I decided to start over from the beginning and check the basics. I am getting no ohms reading when I do a signal generator test, but my plugs do spark. However, it is not a very strong spark. I am also losing a volt from battery to coils...my coils read just over 11volts.
I plan on do the "coil relay modification" found on basscliff's website, but I'm concerned about the failed signal generator test. Why would I still get a spark? Also, my ignitor failed it's test. I just replaced the ignitor with a salvage one. Both ignitors have failed the test. Is there another problem I should be looking for? Faulty wiring or connector, etc...?
