A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

OK, so here we go again with another LED lights, and flasher type question...

I was thinking of changing my lights on the bike and go with some led type lights, and reading about all the issues with them not working, blinking too fast, too slow, not at all, and so on.....

and then I came upon this, and thought would it be the solution to our problems in trying to use LED's....

http://www.royaldistributing.com/ma...iew=book&id=11&Itemid=195&firstPageNumber=370

double click on the left page it will zoom in, then look at the bottom right of the page, and the 2 items I am thinking about

Moto LED IC Relay for DC and the Moto LED Resistor Wire

to be combined with

Moto LED 602 LED Flashers, or I guess any lights one wants to get...

I used an EL12 flasher relay on my GS5 with LEDs.Some report that the EL12 won't work in some situations.

Does your bike have auto-cancel signals?

If you use an aftermarket flasher, you will lose that feature.

If you use the resistor wires, you will be able to keep your self-cancelling feature, but will not use any less current when the flasher are in use.

If your goal is to lessen the load on the charging system, the resistor wires are NOT the way to go.

If your goal is simply to add some distinctive lights, either way will work.

.

I do not have auto cancell

was just looking at some led light, I really don't like the big lights the bike has as stock, so I wanted something a bit different

but the more I look at all the bikes out there not a lot of folks are changing the original lights

so I am good to go....using the above I found, or stay stock

Thanks
