I just did a compression test on my GS1000G motor. Here they are - hope the column alignment works OK for you. The wet reading is with a squirt of engine oil.
Cyl: 1 2 3 4
Dry: 125 60 90 90
Wet: 150 90 150 140
It looks like all rings need replacing (Cyl 1 is just in spec) and Cyl 2 valves need work. If it wasn't for Cyl 2 I would probably just keep riding it, but I don't want to do any more damage.
Is my interpretation correct, Oh GS gurus?
Kim
PS. My column alignment doesn't show up on the forum, the thing doesn't like multiple spaces between text, but you can figure it out.
