A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Maybe the last day trip for the season?

Well they're talking about snow next week, temperatures between 8 and 3 degrees Celsius, that's 46 - 37 Fahrenheit for you southerners. Gets pretty cold on the fingers at those temps. Took advantage of the sun being out and a balmy 10 degrees and off I went. A nice 5 hour ride on some real good twistys, there were even periods where I wasn't cursing the car in front of me. Felt good hitting 10 grand and taking some more meat off those Avon's. Spent a bit of time hitting some roads I don't know, found a real nice little spot hidden away in amongst the trees.

The water looked pretty cold and the road was a little slick but a nice spot indeed.

I was careening around some great corners and hills when I came up and around the top to the Pacific Ocean, it was quite inspiring at the moment.

And I just love these signs

Well I'm hoping this doesn't turn out to be the last ride of the season but if it does at least it was a good one.

If only this sign also had the line "Speed limits Self regulated". Sounds like we have the same forcast. Thanks for the pictures.

You're more adventurous than me

I tuck my bikes away once the leaves cover the roads,

I hate slick roads

maybe pull them out pnce or twice if weather permits

For the most part the roads were clear with the exception of some well treed back roads following the wind storm a day or two earlier, but that's one of the advantages of the rain up here, it cleans the roads. That photo showing the slick road was not indicative of what I was riding on at all, just a neat little find in the back woods. Glad you liked the photo's. I've got 'alot' of bike photos from different places and I haven't posted the resto of the 78 1000 yet so I'll have to take some time to do that this winter.
