A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I've decided to rebuild the carbs (along with a bunch of other stuff) on the GS1100 and would like to replace the after-market main and pilot jets with originals. I'm confused by the pictures and nomenclature and want to make sure I order the right ones...can anyone help? I know the sizes but the other numbers are confusing. (I could order them from the Suzuki dealer but they're much cheaper elsewhere.) Thanks!

Not sure which carbs you have or jets you would need but Parts Unlimited sells Mikuni OEM jets and lists them by carb type and size.

Thanks

Thanks

Thanks! I think I've got the pilot jet figured out but the main jet is confusing me. It's got to be either the 100/604 or the 102/221. I'm thinking it's the 100/604 but don't feel certain enough to order them.8-[

I am not familiar with the RS carbs but the on mine the CV's have single numeric listings for the jet sizes. I am no expert but I thought the other Suzuki stock OEM carbs were VM's for the 80 & earlier models.

Thanks!

Thanks, Bill! I think I've got it straight now; I just hate ordering the wrong stuff!:?

Hey Cheese:

I am currently rebuilding the carbs on my 1100E (1981).

The stock jets are as follows:

Pilot Jet: 45
Pilot Air Jet: 160
Main Jet: 107.5

Thanks

Thanks! I know the sizes but there are a number of Mikuni jets that come in all of those sizes....and several of them look alike (especially in pictures).

You might wanna try this:

I can find you the web-locale for Z1-Enterprises if you can't find it on the site. Jeff is very helpful and he specializes in these machines (you probably knew that).
