A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I have a 127113430?

cant find them in any search. is there a site that will show all part numbers even if your missing one??

picture.php

I have 2 550 motors and 1 650 top end with cams, just trying to place the parts so I can finish the 550 with 650 top end. And everything was in the same box DOH....

I posted 12711-3430?

picture.php

yes..........and? it is missing the number 4 at the beginning of the second half of the part#!

seems strange coincidence that 12711- 43430 is the part number for the cam off the same bike you are looking for!
it could also be a cam from the 650 motor you mention, but you dont say what model 650 it is, so it makes it hard to find the part number for the cams!

all use the same part number inlet cams

ok, thanx a lot for that.

the rocker assemblies are different from the 650 (8valve) compared to the 16valve my motor is. wonder if that makes a difference.

or would the other 2 sets of 550 cams I have be a better option to use in the 85, even though those are 8valve cams too.

I would like to use my tach drive instead of getting an electronic tach which would mean changing my gauges and it wont look like a Katana anymore. But the exhaust cam tach drive gear on the 85 motor isn't there, either wiped out or they don't use them on those motors because of electronic.

what site did you use to check the cam part number, maybe I can check it out and do some searching. thanx a lot Agemax.

i am pretty sure you cant cross 8v and 16v cams but i may be wrong on those models.

look here....... http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm

pick the year of the bike on the left, then it brings up a list of models available.
search from there. ignore their prices as apparantly they are one of the most expensive to buy from.....

thanx for the link.

added: that's a cool site, thanx a lot for that.
