Missing part for BS32SS carbs

I was given a set of carbs from a 1980 GS850 for free so you can't argue about the price. I figured I'd put together a backup set of carbs or maybe a set for my next project. Only problem is that two of the carbs are missing a part I can't seem to find. There's a metal plug under the float bowl that plugs a connection between the bowl and the carb barrel. Here's a picture of one that's missing the metal plug:

Just can't seem to find anyone that has it. And yes Steve, I stole your picture from a previous post to show where my plug is missing. Thanks for the image.

If I can't find two of these I may just have to part the carbs out. Other then these two missing plugs, the carbs are in pretty good shape and cleaned up quite nicely.

Those are press fit in place, but sometimes fall out and get lost. I use JB Weld when reinstalling them. There are a couple of different sizes, so measure carefully using calipers or you might get the wrong size.

I went to a buddy who had 2 sets of spare carbs and tried to remove one but they were just seized in there and I didn't want to break his carbs trying to get one out.
So I got my local machinist to make one up for me, thought it would be a few bucks, ended up being closer to $20 I just about choked but paid anyway as he has been more than reasonable on most other stuff.

Also there is a rubber washer on top that seals it. I used an old one from my carb rebuild and it fit pretty well.

A little JB won't hurt, but there is an o-ring that is intended to keep them in place.

There are a couple of different sizes, so measure carefully using calipers or you might get the wrong size.

I have only seen one size, but the sides of that plug are tapered, making it difficult to install if it is upside-down.

Actually, the rubber "washer" (actually a square-section o-ring) does not seal anything, it just rests between the bowl gasket and the plug and presses against the bottom of the plug to keep it in place.
