All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

since i can't seem to finish jetting my 1100 with the 1150 engine right, a friend let me have his 1150 so i can ride (he bought himself a busa).

one sweet looking streetfighter, here's what i think i know about it:

shaved/ported head (dunno about cams)
4:2:1 high mount yosh pipe
gsxr banana swingarm with 180 rear tire
gsxr inverted front with gsxr dash
mikuni rs36 carbs
rearsets
apparently the top speed is over 260km/h, but i never exceed 160 anyways, so i dont care...

that's one sweet swingarm but i'm afraid its a bit short (smells like a wheelie machine)

i'm doing a bit of work on it and hopefully will be able to ride it by friday

the bike scares me a bit. it feels very heavy compared to the 1100 in my avatar, at low speeds anyways, havent gone fast on it yet. steering isnt what i'm used to, but i guess i'll learn.

A steering dampener would make it feel much better. It might still be heavy, weight wise, but will feel solid as a rock beneath you.

i dont think a steering damper is needed, the bike feels solid as a rock, just doesnt feel as light as the other bike (the clubman bars on the other bike make it feel feather light, it's seriously as easy to ride as a moped)

sagent: is that kitten stalking pigeons with a sniperscope? funneh!

yeah, im really lucky with my friends if unlucky with my bikes. one friend gave me his bike when i needed one that was more reliable than my 750 (unfortunately it's still running too rich) and another friend lent me this sweet 1150 so i could ride since it doesnt look like i'll get the carbs sorted out this summer.

come on bert, stop teasing and show 'em a pic!...

ok then!...i'll do it.

hey claude, you strike again.

that is exactly the bike, sweet ain't it?

its got monster power too (it'll take me a while to tame)
oh , and yeah, i want to buy this baby, so i'm currently taking donations...

i got 2 brand new 4:1 compete exhausts, some inverted forks and other little things to trade for cash...

That 1150 sure looks nice with that bright red paint job !!
