Moving turn signals

Figured out a neat trick for moving the turn signals in closer to the bike. Take out the stalks, and replace with a hollow threaded rod from a lamp. It's almost the exact same size, and cheap too. I got the parts out of some lamps we were throwing out, but you can buy threaded rod and nuts at any hardware store.

I moved my turn signals into the tail light, out of sight until switched on. I just used the light sockets from the old tail lights and inserted them in the holes I made in the tail light.

Looks good! maybe I'll try that on the bike this winter
