DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

My 1150 clean up/rebuild

Got at my tail light and surrounding rubber moulding. They were a little rough, so I used my nova scratch remover on the plastic and back to black on the moulding. Came out pretty good.

Rob came over to help me (really he did it) get the wiring harness back on today. I kind of played hookie from work. Got the fairing brace on and the rear fender and other little bits. Now I have to go out tomorrow to find some replacements nuts and bolts etc. Slowly but surely...

ohhhhh,,,there is the dog......:)

seems your doggie helps out, just as much as mine does.....

Things are getting there Trevor. Talk about a rats nest though, holy cow. About half way there with the wiring harness, one more day and we 'should' have the tank, fairing and other body panels on, 10 minutes tops! We're both a bit baffled by the Dyna 2000 setup, no clue what to do with it once the bikes up an running. Hey who's got an 1150 shop manual they can sell Trevor???

In the third picture down, you can almost see part of it just under the handlebar at the steering stem.
I think.

Eric

Actually that's not the dog, it's a stuffed Panda Bear sitting on a toilet.....go figure. It's Trevor's kid so I don't ask questions, ha,ha,ha.

Murray at Modern has a few boxes of manuals he picked up when another dealership folded. I got the one for my Kat there. 40 bucks, which is about half price. I can have a look if you want ?

Trevor now has a manual :)

Are you looking for a wiring diagram? Valorsolo just made up an awesome enhanced diagram for this bike.

Looks like youre coming along pretty good!

All the lights work. :) And thanks to a fellow member who sent me a maual I can figure out some routing for it. Tonight I Finished the tailpeice and then put on the header and pipe.:D Very happy that it should not be long now.

It's coming along nicely Trevor. Manuals do help at times. :) I'm looking forward to hearing it run, I want to hear how it sounds with the yoshi pipes.
