A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I'm loving that blacked out engine.
And that exhaust is something to behold!!!
WOW!!!
How'd you make that exhaust???

thanks guys

thanks guys

thanks guys

the exhaust is off some sport bike that i had to widen at the exhuast ports
to fit this WIDE engine then painted w/ john deere muffler paint same as the engine

i fabbed up the rear end from the seat back ,widend a sporty rear fender 1.5"

got rid of the stock gauges and painted the bike GM gun metal gray

i still need those square cam covers and the rear brake inspec cover

Shawn

You looking for cam covers? PM me if you still need some, I am certain I could find you a set locally, I am personal friends with a bike salvage shop here in Fargo and I know he has a couple that have the covers on them still.

Where did you get that rear fender, thats exactly what I want to do with mine. Also what kind of shocks are those. Bike is looking great.

HI

the rear fender is off of a 95' harley sportster that i widened 1.5" in the middle
the shocks are off of a slall dirt bike frame i had they have 11" centers

Looks great! Thats almost exactly what I'm in the middle of doing to my GS. I got a rear fender off a late 70's sportster, two-place seat from 90's sportster and 10" shocks from Ebay. I like the looks of the single seat but I've got a gf that likes to ride almost as much as I do.

Good Job!!

I meant to ask you, did you cut the upper frame rails and lower them for the seat?

the only part of the frame that is original is the front half (around the engine)

i can email you some pics if you want , pm me

if you want to widen the rear fender you have a good one ,the one i used was from a late 90's sporty and it was really thin yours should be of a thicker gauge .
