A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

My voltmeter

waltergs1000

Forum Apprentice
I cut a dash of 1100g, is different from that of my 1000g - but I never cut - without even the hole to choke.

Painted black plastic, protrudes 3mm to touch the handlebar, so it is only stuck (see the thickness of the plastic!) But not able to get out from the dashboard as it is locked by the two circles for the screws, and can not fall down because it supports the handlebar. It has the blue background, but very dark, not like the picture where you see clear to the flash.

voltmeter measure 2 x 1 x 2 cm, very small, good for this. His name is master audio psd3

sorry, google translation!

That's neat looking! 90000 km- wow!
But that wire looks like lamp wire- if it is, best to switch to sturdier grade!Great job.

Yes, very nice looking, but there's nothing wrong with "lamp wire" for this application.

In fact, I would look at using smaller wire to hide it better. :o

I meant sturdier insulation- and yeah,24 gauge wire would work and be it's own fuse!

I like the 3 digit display for measuring and monitoring voltage. On my GSXR, I plan on recessing the LED display because the unlit digits are a bit distracting to me.

Totally worth piecing together what you're saying. Looks VERY clean. Nicely done!

Just for the convenience of those who want to pursue this, here is a link to the Italian eBay site where this can be purchased. Price is 16.90 Euros, shipping is 7.90 Euros. As of today, that is 23.35 USD for the meter and 10.91 USD for shipping.

Is it my failing eyesight, or is that unit water resistant? Couldn't you find it here? A quick search of Fleabay showed only unsealed units, circuit board just hanging out there. Plus, I would need a red one. ;)

sealed at the top seem so resistant to water, have lower
maybe a few holes from 2 mm to cool? if board
cut sealed well water that difficult for me to get under the dashboard. I, however, if it rains never use my gs

Didn't look very hard, actually. I just Googled the supplier that Walter mentioned, "master audio psd3" and it came right up.

I did that so those that might be more interested could maybe get more details about the unit and do their own search. :p

Very nice, great idea! Now, it would be cool if you could find a suitable clock, to add to the right of the 'Suzuki' logo....just to keep the look fair & balanced.
