I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I am looking to get a new battery with a bit more juice. I went to a local shop and he showed me a
YTX14AHL-BS an agm battery
and a Shorai lithium battery
LFX14L5-BS12
Anyone have exp with lithium batteries, are these good ones?
Which is the better choice?

I got me a Odyssey batter early this year and it is a whole bunch of awesome.
Plenty juicy and no outrageous price.

can't tell you if it's any good or not, yet, but it's a bit stronger than the regular one, and I like that it's maintenance free....

.

Lithium ones have more power, hard charge longer & are about 4lb lighter. For most applications the extra cost doesn't justify what you get over an AGM plus they are an unknown for longevity as they haven't been around too long! :)

Deka have a good one for $60 on Ebay. I have a Motobatt & a scorpion AGM in my bikes. Both seem fine.

What type of battery is it?

I think it is an AGM but uses some fancy packaging to get more amperage.
It is rock solid though lighter and smaller then the YB10LB that is stock.
In conjucntion with my computronic reg\rect I am the King of the World

Thanks for the input.
I think the agm is going to be my choice, almost 1/2 the price and proven technology. The one I have now is rated at 190 cca and the new ones are 210 cca, and I think 14 ah.
I would have thought that I could get a bigger lithium with much more juice because the recommended one is quite small as well as lighter too.

what are you being quoted on the price for the agm battery ?

The going rate for AGMs here is about $65, I guess Canadian prices are higher?

almost double...

first one I purchased was 118 plus tax, the second one was 109 plus tax....

first one was a dud, wouldn't hold a charge

.

I just called the place again and he quoted me $98 plus tax.
Just wondering how much difference there would be going from 190 cca to 210 cca. The one I have now is a standard lead/acid yuasa, nothing wrong with it, just has trouble with my 11-1 1327 sometimes.
