    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hello all....new to the forum. I am an avid rider and have been for 42 years. I have a 82 1000 Katana and just had a83 Gs1100e follow me home...:cool:

Happy to be here and will have questions and I hope to help out if I can.....

Wow! Is that your current stable? That's a great collection of bikes. SoCal is a wonderful locale for riding (once you get out of the city, at least)

Now, about pictures; do you use an image hosting service? It's the easiest way to post multiple, full-size images.

Welcome fellow Angeleno...well, I left LA in 1986 and now live on the east coast...but I still have family/friends in LA & the Inland Empire.

An '83 GS1100E is a nice ride! Definitely post pics.

Sixdog, congrats on the purchase. I take it they were not advertised on craigslist, as I do not recall seeing them. I also dig your collection, look forward to seeing the pictures.

I wonder what it is about the 70s and 80s for these motorcycles, for me I always guessed it was about nostalgia, but who knows.

I just sold it last month Rob.... it was nice to have but every week it seemed like it leaked from a new area and it was maintenance intensive. I had my fun and got a real good offer so...
 
Welcome along, great collection! Love the Katana of course for obvious reasons :D

I must ask though... are the shark fins under the front cowl on the wrong sides? They look like they're pointing in towards each other but they should point out. Sorry to be picky...
