Well, i'm not a big fan of performance, I have noticed no change in power, but haven't tested it on the highway.

Before Pics:
4 to 1 (from last owner) modified 4 to 2, very ugly, the black paint could hardly hide the home-made low cost modification.
It started to make a strange noise from the inside, I gues something come out of place, no way to know what it was without cutting it. Sound: Wasn't bad.

After Pics:
2 Yosimura RS-3 pipes (a part of them were painted with aluminium gray to match the engine color)
4 to 2 with mods: got rid of the old and rusted pipes, welded pieces of bended tubes, in order to install the yosimura pipes.
All the exhaust were chromed.

Imagen018.jpg

Problems found but they were solved:
* Welded a metal extension in the rest-leg in order to avoid contact with the exhaust
* Welded 2 pieces of bended tubes to the frame (Imagen 003.jpg) in order to get the back footpegs lift some inches so the new pipes could be placed.
* 2 Triangular pieces of metal were made to get the pipes attached to the frame (the pipes were held from the bottom). A piece of threaded metal were welded to the frame.

I forgot to take a picture of rear view of the bike, It will be posted as soon as a nice day come along (remember, is Winter here )

Before Sound: Stereo sound!!! It sounds very deep, like a bigger motorcycle, I love the sound. I can also hear my bike when I go for a ride with my Harley Friend. (yes, is strange, but sometimes you can find a HOG that is friendly and doesn't criticize your bike because is not a HD one)

Imagen021.jpg

Total Costs of the project:
U$D 100 both Yosh Pipes (Not original Yosh pipes)
U$D 200 HandWork
U$D 50 Used Exhaust
U$D 190 Chrome

Remember, I'm in Argentina, and is impossible to import a complete new original exhaust, the customs here are very corrupt and charges you about 200% else for any piece you want to import (if they don't retain your spares and sell later to someone else)

More pics in next post, I can only put 4 per post. Enjoy the pics!

I love posts with a lot of pics, hope you too![-o<

Cool duel pipe exhaust! Post some pictures from rear and rear 3/4 angle to show those babies off.:-D

Wow, very impressive work and idea. Looks fantastic, I like the symetry of the the dual cans. Ray

Pipes

Pipes

Are those Yoshi pipes for bikes??? They look like 4wheeler pipes.
Didint u have to readjust the carbs, jetting, after putting on difff pipes??

How does it sound???
I wouldn't want my gs750 sounding like my honda fourwheeler, thats for sure...

IF those are fourwheeler pipes... what about the spark arrester???

I know my 750 has baffles in the pipes, but thats a bitt diff then an offroad spark arrester..

Peace..

I don't think that there would be any chance that a single cylinder Honda would sound anything like 4-cylinder Suzuki.

VERY nice pics. I hope the new chrome stays looking like that but.....

Nice... you don't see many performance dual pipes on old bikes at all.

We NEED a rear view. I'm an azz man.

I don't think so neither gcextreme, but I love the way the honda fourwheeler sounds.
They sell the pipes for motorbikes, but sure they can be adapted to a fourwheeler, the sound is very deep in low RPM, and is Stereo in High :)
What is a spark arrester???

You'll have them as soon as the rain stops. Remember is Winter here

The motorbike sounds and runs great, is almost the same as the old exhaust system, I'll taking the bike to the road and make some spark-plug readings, to ensure the fuel-air mix is in good shape.

Greetings for all!

I agree. You gotta post one just exactly like the very first pic, showing off the new pipes. I think it looks great.

Spark Arrester

Spark Arrester

What is a Spark Arrester? LOL
Ok simple put, its like a baffle in the pipe, that supposet to prevent sparks from pipes creating fires in woods, at least thats what i was told..
Around here, u have to have the spark arrester in the pipe if you are riding in the woods.
The spark arrester on my honda is just the back tip thats screwed in with 3 bolts..
See picture attached.

Oh and yes I am sure those Yoshi pipes sound different on a 4cylinder bike engine then a fourwheeler... but if we are going to go that route.. why not stick that type of pipe on your truck.. lol

Peace

We also need a SOUND CLIP !!!!! How loud is that dual system??? Typically the less volume of gasses flowing through the muffler, the louder the tone is.

Dude, GREAT professional job!

Also I recorded a sound clip, Hope to find out how to post it.
Greetings from Argentina and thanks everyone for your comments.
