A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

New Harley Commercial...discuss.

Real bikers are a rare breed. Harley riders are a dime a dozen.

Most of them yes but just like everything else in life there is good and bad in all. I have meet some harely riders that could run circles around other riders in both the safety and riding ability.

Lol....only Harley.:p

Say what you will but you have to give huge credit to the marketing geniuses at HD. What else than sheer brilliance is it that they can convince grown men to voluntarily. permanently and at their own expense tattoo a product logo into their skin?

tis a shame most of them never get to see the logo on the HD condoms, it's printed at the base where you have to roll it all the way out to see..

I don't know about canadians but americans aren't exactly known for their taste in anything.

Our best selling beer sucks, our highest grossing restaurant serves food that is barely fit for human consumption and walmart is taking over the world even though it takes a hour to wade through the riff raff to buy a loaf of bread.

I don't see why our taste in motorcycles would be any different.

This is actual fact - it happened to me...

This is actual fact - it happened to me...

I was speaking to a well known custom seat making company over the fall about a new seat for my sons Goldwing. We were looking for something that offered comfort, and long distance rideability with a backrest, and made from durable materials. We discussed the options for extra dense foam, and even gell inserts as options and the various opinions of the cost vs benifit of each option. Lead time was investigated, and color and style options reviewed.

This conversation took about 15 - 20 minutes and the sales person was most helpful, politely and patiently answering all my questions .

At the end of the conversation he said...

"I really like talking to you Goldwingers, you really like to know WHY you are buying something before you spend big money on it."

"I said - well everything about those bikes is so expensive we gotta watch our wallet carefully"

He responded " I like talking to our customers, even the Harley guys ..but all I have to tell them is 'This seat will make your bike look badass' and they are sold"

Ha Ha Ha --

HD is the KING of selling LIFESTYLE and they make a lot of $$ doing it. People buy ANYTHING with the HD logo or anything that might make them LOOK cool (even while riding 1500 miles per year average).

And I LIVE near Milwaukee - so I personally know a lot of HD riders.
