Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Picked up a 2008 Bandit 1250SA today.

Fuel injection, ABS and upgraded Yosh pipe. 16k miles

I think I did pretty good with a sale price of 3150. I few scratches but nothing major.

It's amazing the caliber of motorcycle you can find for a price like that (although that seems like a terrific price for a dealership's used stock!).

That looks like a bundle of fun! A Bandit that requires almost zero maintenance except a little chain lube now & then.

Excellent score.

Stock bars. It was marked down from 4500 to 3900. I threw out a number and they accepted it with little to no hesitation.

One of the easiest dealer experiences I've ever had. Superstar Cycle Center in Independence, MO.

I really wanted a b-king but when this one came up...at the price...I couldn't say no.

Sargent seat, and holeshot efi tuner (stage 2) are in the works for the near future.

Nice torque down low and very smooth power delivery. The holeshot mods will give it some horsepower that it deserves.

I think the Bandit is far better looking than the B king. Cleaner, less of that plumbing look.

I looks really nice. The Bandit line of bikes looks appealing to me. I need to learn more bout their features and evolution to help in deciding which one to look for. I interested in those mods for more power....

Got a pleasant surprise yesterday once I removed the seat for some misc clean and familiarization.

Dealer said no other mods were done to the bike other than the Yosh pipe, but I found a Dobeck (holeshot) tfi tuner installed. Sure fealt like it had a couple more ponies than the last stock 1250 I rode.

Nice ride! The 1250 supposedly has gobs of torque and a smooth engine. A much nicer looking bike than the Bking/vmax/transformer looking bikes. You done well!

Very smooth. And yes good torque.
I test drove a fz1 as well, and preferred the bandit for the grunt.

Corbin/Holeshot seat came in today. Really like the look and the feel so far. Nice quality stitching and design (wouldn't expect less).

Now just have to break it in ;)

Also installed a zero gravity windshield, tank guard, and have changed the oil and flushed the coolant system.

Pipes are very tight to the front of the engine so getting to the filter can be a bit of a challenge, but I used a cheap strap wrench to break it loose, and it came right off.

I've got a free dyno run that I havent used from a local shop, so I might be taking it down there early next week to see what kinda of HP its putting out with the TFI and yosh exhaust.
