So I replaced my regulator rectifier on my 81 gs450t after I tested it and one of the diodes was bad, the old regulator has 5 wires: yellow, red, white/blue, white/red, and a black wire. The new one also has 5 wires. Red, yellow, yellow, yellow, and green. It's obvious the red wires are positive current and the black/green are grounds. Then I connected the remaining 3 wires with how the ones on the old one were from right to left. My bike is having starting problems, but with the bike off the battery reads 12.98v which seems good. But as I turn on the key, it jumps down to 11.98 and keeps dropping. The wire cluster coming from the stator has 3 yellow wires just like the new regulator but if I connected all the yellows, it would be different from how the old one was and would leave some connections un connected. I'm tired of push starting my bike so I need some help please.
