A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I reviewed this regulator a while back..........

I wired it all up and she's working great with my little 4 cell lithium battery.

Good ,but amuse yourself and do the quick test as insurance!
It is going to be even more amusing seeing the op posting about his future charging issues and bemoaning his burnt grounds.

here is a reco: get some LED lights they are very nice when complimented by glowing ground wires.

Hey posplayr you're kind of a dick i don't need any more responses from you. If you want to be a dick do it to somebody else or change the way you're responding to me also the review you did was like 3 years things could have changed since then.

Let me see if I have this straight. :-k

You came here with a question, admitted you were lost and were looking for help.

Several people, including posplayr, have offered you help, very little of which you have acknowledged.

Then you toss it a little detail about a modified electrical system as if it meant nothing. (I am refering to your 4-cell lithium battery.)

Then you come back and insult pos and call him names.

Sound about right?

Posplayr happens to be one of our most knowledgeable members regarding the electrical system and how it works.
Calling him (or anybody else) names does not usually do much to build a friendly relationship.

Sounds like you already seem to know it all, so we just won't bother offering you any more help. That sound OK?

Yeah Jim can be a bit harsh but if you hang around here long enough you will find listening to those who know will lead you to trouble-free riding. Every issue/problem with these machines has been solved by these guys. Listen up...you won't regret it.

PS Welcome to the forum.

I appreiciate the helpful answers but the smart ass comments I don't need, I never asked anything about the quality of the r/r i ordered? The only thing I asked was how to install it. Not one bit of information he gave me pertained to any of my questions he only was saying things to make feel more like a dumb noob. Which I am but there is no reason to rub it in my face.

Yeah and the last quote he was being super helpful.

"It is going to be even more amusing seeing the op posting about his future charging issues and bemoaning his burnt grounds.

I'm not sure how much more I can acknowledge, Besides saying I got my question answered and thanks for help.

Hey parkerross you are wrong, I'm a Jim not a dick. And it will be extremely amusing to see you come back. If you think that is harsh too bad. It is nothing like having a fried harness.

God forbid anybody else buy one of these. :(
