I've asked this before, I'll try again.
I've seen pics on this site of cooler lines running from the cooler in front of the engine around the outside of the cylinders to behind the cylinders. Why don't GS owners route them over the top of the engine? Is there just not enough space in the gas tank tunnel?
That's the way the lines were routed on my third-hand '73 Kaw Z1, completely avoiding the headers.
It doesn't matter to me anymore, I've got a very short distance to travel from my cooler to the oil passages on either side of my '82 1100e's oil filter cover. I was just wondering.
