A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Yeah, thats her. What a beauty huh? 8O :D

Can you bolt just one more thing to that bike?

holy crap. That thing's got a center stand. I wonder if the rider can actually get it up on that thing. I have a hard time with my gs750 as is.

Yeah he should get some kind of award for that thing. If Elvis had a GS, that would be it! :)

My eyes! My Eyes! someone poke out my eyes.

Dude, buy a Harley and return that bike to stock. 8O

Gotta agree. I'll bet his wife had some input as to the "decorating" of his ride. Some people should not customize.

Oh, baloney! That's one of the best conversation starters I've seen in years! :D

conversion what, personal preferance and such....but its a little gay, seems to me he had it painted and changed the lights, bolted on some police bags. not to much of a conversion really, but its the doods bike, and if he dosnt want or cant afford a harley, well the the GS is a awesome bike,
Though My self belives in renthals / rear sets/ Drag style, and i dont mean in a dress

on the other hand

on the other hand

I hear you all saying that, but on the other hand I see some things I want to (or might have to) do. For example,

I like the rack on the tank for the tank bag. Perennial problem of bag scratching paint is solved. Now I am not sure I like the actual design, but the concept is, I think, excellent.

And given the combination of funds, time, and skills I'll probably have to make my own saddle bags. One of the puzzles was due to a desire to be able to remove those bags without too much hassle. A base/cage mount was on my short list of solutions because if needed I could pull the bags and put something else on it. Now I think he's way too heavy in the design (big thick chrome pipes to form it all) but the basic idea seems right. And I can see the mounting arm well enough to give ideas for my own future use.

Now I admit the rear bumper cage is a bit extreme. And the over-engineered luggage rack looks able to hold more weight than any sane rider would put there - sane being defined as someone who likes to ride with two wheels firmly on the ground, not one firm and one touching now and then. But it could be worse, and taste aside it looks like he did a fine job of actually doing the work.

Just this newbies two cents.

this is the pic that sells the bike :P

Is it just me, or does he look sort of like Popeye?

If thats Popeye then it wasn't Spinache he was shotgunning out of those cans.

if he likes the bike then more power to him, we all have our own personal tastes... atleast he's riding a Suzi instead of a freakin harley... and yes i agree he looks like Popeye... oh and uhhh he needs to put on a damn pair of pants!!!

Where the heck did he find the electrical power to run all those lights?

most likely he doesnt have the power he needs on that bike, probably find that underneath it all its a mess.

and as far as being a hick goes, alot of people think Im a lower life form than them too. Im sure someone has called me a hick as well. there are alot of us here that define hick.

the blue collar hicks you talk of made this country what it is, are defending this country as we speak, and furthermore what if this guy browses this site?

sorry, just had to stick up for the little guys :)
