A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Plug fouling.

What is the exact problem with the petcock that causes the dreaded #2 cylinder plug fouling??? Can it be fixed??? The petcock is not leaking and you can hear the clicking when vacuum is applied. Carbs have been dipped and ultrasonically cleaned, bench synced, valves adjusted properly, plug wires cleaned with new caps. Coil wires swapped from one side to the other and the #2 plug fouling problem stays with #2 plug. Waiting for my Morgan Carb Tune. Is the only solution a new petcock??? Thanks for all suggestions in advance.

when you say the petcock is not leaking, have you pulled off the fuel pipe that goes to the carbs and see if it is dribbling even with the engine not running?
if the pet cock will flow fuel (or dribble) with the engine off and the tap in the ON or REServe position then the petcock is faulty.
it should flow freely with the tap in the PRIme position.

Also, the vacuum line itself can dribble fuel down and into #2 cylinder and foul the plug. Get some clear vinyl tubing sized to fit petcock vac fitting , push it on, and suck- any fuel headed your way? If yes, just get a new petcock - you likely can get one for about $60, so skip trying to repair a leaky petcock.

Yes, I have checked the fuel to see if it is leaking. I let it flow into a container over night and there was no evidence of any leak. I will try sucking on the vacuum line a little more to see if it does flow any fuel, but I didn't get any fuel while just listening for the click in the petcock. Yes the "on and reserve" work and the prime flows freely too. Thanks.
