A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Thanks Midnight,

She urges me to sell it and get something newer but funny thing is, I don't want anything else. Sure, I'd like a Katana 1100F (88-94) but not over the ol' pop up. It's too odd and oh so sexy....

As I said before, the early (REAL) Katanas are about the only motorcycles that really turn my crank. Not even the mighty 1150E/ES's do that, for as cool as they are.

Not toooooo custom but definetly not stock. its an 83 GS750E.

I posted a picture of my 78 GS550E a few weeks back but I recently had the seat reshaped and reupholstered. Other accessories include an EMGO fairing, Napolean bar-end mirrors and Triumph Bonneville fork tube covers.

:D I like that look but not a big fan of ape hangers, I think it would look pretty cool with drag bars. I would not mind doing that to a bike but would have to also keep the rear shocks, back would do bad things with out shocks.

Thanks Pontiacs,

I know you have some mirrors but they're just not in the budget right now. Would love to have some, too, as I think they really make the bike "pop", if you know what I mean.

You are really just Taunting us :(

First you don't post a picture with a matching red fender for months, and then when you finally do, it is with the Hindle on the opposite side

Cant we get both?

BTW, I will have a 86-88 GSXR 1100 Hindle pretty soon. I got the last one :D

I'll be sure to post pictures :-&
One from a ride last weekend.

that bike is a beast!
It's been through 5 or 6 incarnations getting to this point. Started off just painting stock wheels solid red, Kerker, and jet kit. Then new wheels and fork followed later by RS flatslides. Then another new rear wheel and polishing of both along with a Yosh Duplex pipe. Now a new front end and rear shock along with the Hindle. Still another couple of rounds to go before I call it done.

Here's mine, 1983 GS750T, its had a twin disc fron wheel conversion, disc rear wheel conversion and a harris 4into1 works collection exhaust. Since the pics, its also has a set of 6"rise "T" bars put on it. paint is candy blue over a white basecoat.

I "think" I like it. It's hard to tell 'cause the pic is so dark. BTW what model and year is it? I'd like to see some really good outdoor shots of it. (wink-wink-hint-hint) "lemme know if ya' post some"

seat is smoother than it looks (sandblasted it). Hoping to get it done in the next month or so.

Here is a picture of a bike I just finished and a few others I have. It is a 1979 GS1000, 1085 kit, 1980 head shaved forty thou, ported, web cams, Dyna ignition and coils 36mm carbs. It is a little dirty, the pollen here has been horrible and this bike was clean just an hour and a half prior. I painted it my self with a roller, yeah I said a ROLLER
