I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

My current project's motor:

1080 piston kit
welded crank
ported head
new valves
new cams
Heavy duty clutch

Try a search. A lot of posts on this site about engine builds. Sry, but I don't have a web site anymore to give you a link.

Are you wanting to build up your 1100 and looking for ideas?

It sounds like you know what you want, and how do go about doing it. I am just not sure why you'd waste all that money on beefing up a shaft driven bike. You had better check into what you can do to beef up the secondary hypoid gears, the final drive hypoid gears, the rear splines both in the final drive and in the wheel itself (because I PROMISE you, and I say that with all conviction, if you havent changed out that wheel hub spline, what you are doing to that motor WILL strip it out QUICKLY, thats not a MIGHT, thats a WILL) and the splines on the propeller shaft. You lose alot more HP thru a shaft drive motor from the wheel to the crank than you do with a chain driven bike, so be aware of that as well. I am not trying to disuade you from doing this, because im curious to see what they will withstand, but it seems to me that if *I* were doing this, I would be doing it on a chain drive bike. Heck, you cant even change your gear ratio on a shaftie...:(

Paul doing the rockers for it? $1000 on the head seems VERY cheap if the rockers, other parts and setup were also included with the porting. Now about that shaft drive.....

IMO, save the $$$$.

As TCK has pointed out, you are asking for trouble from the drive line.

I have bored and raised the CR on my shaftie and I run a good 4-1 pipe. Just with these mods, I have got increases of 25% in HP and 38% in torque over stock. To date, I haven't damaged anything including the clutch. I don't do holeshots though. If you lube the drive splines on the diff and wheel hub each tyre change, you shouldn't have any failures here with moderate increases in HP. If you plan on hauling the front wheel off the deck with each takeoff, you'll be doing lots of repairs to the drive line!

i wont be doing burn outs with it or drag racing.
iv been told from people who have modded shaftys that told me not to worry as long as i don't abuse it.
i do have two drive trains so im not afraid of it.
o god cmt's 40 sexiest videos is on
