A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The 1150 running gear should give it a whole new stance as well as improve the much needed handling and suspension.

The 1150 Suspension swap is complete, just need to button a few things up, bleed the brakes and she will be done.

Appreciate the offer......but I would have to get a new chain, new front sprocket, take the rear wheel off, and so on......

I will just live out my lust through your pictures......:D

Maybe one day,,,,on a cold and stormy winter night, I will pull it all apart....but I will have to do it one day, I still have the original parts on the bike.....

ES pegs are already pretty far back Joe. You going to ride this thing right, not just look at it?

Oh, looking awesome!:D

LOL..this is probably my favorite bike to ride around town. My only gripe has been the suspension which I never really addressed in the initial restore. Now with the Hagon Mono over the 3.5" rear and the 1150 front 2.75 with new springs and emulators it should be an absolute blast!

The swap is complete

FRONT

1150 front 2.75" wheel, 700 rotors and calipers ( New rubber )
1150 triples with 700 forks mounted / gauges a direct swap to the 1150
1150 axle bushing reduced t0 27.5mm
New Sonic springs matched with Race Tech gold valve emulators
New Core Moto braided lines w/ ano blue banjos
1150 top clamp cover

Rear

1150 rear 3.5" wheel w/ new rubber
1150 rear caliper
New Core Moto braided lines w/ ano blue banjos
B12 rear brake stay
New rear blue supersprox
New rear HAGON mono shock.

Cant wait to ride this little demon!

Check out that A$$

That's it.......

I am driving down to Texas and stealing your bike.....

at least for a few hours anyways....

nice job....

.

Unbelievable difference! When you factor in the Race Tech emulators and new shorter Sonic springs spaced correctly it is like night and day. The new wheels help too. :)

Had it out today all the squish is gone, the biggest improvement is when braking. So solid..
