A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
Looks AWESOME!!! I especially like the carbs.
Hey, since those bowl gaskets are brand new, you might want to double check and make sure the bowls are on good and tight before you put gas in them. They might have compressed a little.![]()

Thanks Bruce, I'll tighten em up. Should be done with your sync and tuning tools shortly.
Curious.
On the carbs, CV of course, what jet/needle set up did you put in?
Dyna jet kit, or Mikuni parts?
Or jets you have to tune with?
You have gone with the K&N's.
Just curious.![]()
No problemo. I wouldn't want to attempt installing seals without one. Glad to give an assist for my fellow GSer's when possible. Thanks, I sent your Seal Tool today Priority Mail. That thing makes easy work of installing seals...many Thanks!

I like some of the colors you chose - for instance the charcoal (I think that's it) for the anit-dive and caliphers. I wish I would have been a bit more creative when I built my sons' 750. All that black doesn't look as sharp. Nice job again.
Joe, that bike is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! I am very impressed with the job you've done & am partial to your project because this bike, in this color, is identical to my first ever brand new bike. I HAVE to ask one thing of you- PLEASE change the speedo cable bracket to something besides that yellow!!! Other than that, it's PERFECT! Great job! Ray.
For those who have inquired on the paint color on the front and rear calipers, modular plunger and valve, axle holder fork stabilizer and brake line guides its Dupli-color engine enamel DE1651 Cast Coat Iron with VHT high temp satin clear applied. I removed the stock black paint with aircraft stripper and sanded with 600-800 grit than applied three light coats of the Dupli-color until it covered. Than two coats of VHT high temp Satin clear, sanding in between each application. Nothing to difficult just tedious.
