    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The magnum was originally for a cb900 engine but i modified if to take a gsxr/ bandit engine & modern running gear, one off single seat etc, i had wanted one for many years but in the end pure economics meant that i had to sell it at the finished dry build stage

never mind the cash from the sale eventually bought my efe, efe/gixer thing & a gsx750 so i'm still a happy chappy :-D

YUP,I want to get the height correct for the swing arm. Yes my riding season is done for a while so I can modify the bikes that need it and start this project which will take a while to complete. Once it gets warm again the GS will take a backseat to racing and having fun\\:D/

UPDATE....Front end is almost complete! I took a old used GS 1150 front end and made it pretty. I lowered it 2" and rebuilt it and painted it. Here is one of the fork legs...

Brand new dampners,WOW very expensive and hard to get any more. All of the other hardware in a pile. The I drilled holes in the bolts of the dampners for safety wire to keep them in place instead of locktite . Notice the spark plug in the picture, still got good color after 96k on the engine.

Now that I have cut the springs after I have put in the 2" lowering block from Pingel. If you don`t cut your springs you will never get that threaded end on and your forks will be ULTRA stiff...

I tried to clap but it doesn't work.
Right on Kris!!! Looking good. Now to weld a mount for the oil cooler so we can go pick up our heads. :-D

Yes that is next. I took apart the whole instrument console and cleaned it inside and out,wow that thing was filthy:shock: I love Suzuki`s way of thinkin, the whole instrument cluster can be disassembled and cleaned or repaired. The only thing that is stupid in that cluster is the tach, you can`t take it apart oh well it still looks nice.
