A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Rear-sets

As I add to the fleet, I can't stray from the GS. Lately I find that as soon as I'm not going to be shifting, I move my feet rearward so the balls of my feet are on the pegs. This seems the most comfortable bend for me, so I'm thinking my next purchase will be some rearsets. Anybosy got any advice? Disco-volante's are much cheaper than Raask. Anybody have them?

I'm going to fit some 2001-2003 GSXR's to my bike. You will need to weld a plate to the frame to mount them, but other than that, they should work. I'll post a pic of them installed later. I only have the brake side and still need the shifter.

Very cool, man. I'm thinking it's a winter  project. Can you keep the passenger pegs?

Oh yea - I forgot that you might still have those pesky duel shocks to contend with. They may not work for you if you need paggenger pegs. Billy migh have some insight on this for you also.

I have a mono installed on the rear so I'm looking at using the GSXR passenger units also.

I've got early '90s GSXR rearsets on mine. I had to 86 the stock passenger pegs. I'm not sure of your arrangement Bert, but if I ever get the urge for passenger pegs again I will just get a set of universal folding pegs and either clamp them to the subframe or weld another plate to the subframe and bolt the folding pegs on. That ought to put the passenger's knees up around my neck. Just have to make sure they're female passengers.

That's a given. No male butts hit my seat when I'm riding - besides mine that is. Glad I made the last qualification. 8O
