I've got what use to be a '82 GS 650.
This is probably a stupid idea for many reasons, but I'm already half way done with it. It requires small parts to be fully optional. However I'm waiting on parts as it is, and taking off this will give it a completely naked look! One question.
I've opened up the headlamp and found where all these wires. One is already stripped after the diode. My question is, must I strip the wires around the diodes to avoid risk of an electrical hazard if I just leave them disconnected?
Any suggestion/experience with wire stripping would be helpful. Is it possible to repair/ replace wires on these old bikes? Thank you all!
