Working on a 78 gs550e. I have adjusted the valve clearances then synchronized the carbs. At the time #3 was waaaaay off, it was pulling a great deal more vaccuum than the rest.
I have recently replaced the points, and set the timing with a timing light. Now cylinder #3 is getting no fuel, plenty of spark, but the header is cold to the touch, and it idles like crap.
It ran quite well beforehand so I'm assuming either:
1. The sync is way off again causing cylinder 3 to not get fuel or
2. The pilot jet for 3 got clogged up somehow
Can the carb sync being too far off cause a lack of fuel to the cylinder?
Thank you for any help.
