A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I just got back from an 8 day missionary trip to Haiti, it was a very surreal experience and still adjusting to being home. It will take me a while to resolve all I saw and put it to words, but for now thought I would share some of the motorcycle related pictures with you all. By far the most common bike I saw was the Dayun 125, and usually 2-4 passengers with no helmets. Tight perhaps but nothing like the "tap taps" that are basically very small trucks with a raise cap with 15-20 people crammed in the back and on the roof.

Thought I caught more... but have lots of pictures of the rest of the trip, if you want the album pass pm me.

All the more proof how unbelievably lucky we are to live in this county.

Glad to have you back Sk8er dude !

It's good to have you back on this continent, and I hope your missionary work was well received and appreciated.

Giving of yourself to others with no expectation of reward is truly selfless, and I think that is a quality that more people need to nurture in themselves, and their children.

Good Show Buddy!

Welcome back. Those bikes are in good shape.....better than their living conditions:confused:

Welcome back Jared. Great pictures and awesome job you've done buddy. You're a good man. You never told me where to send my donation check, it's still sitting here.

The gerneral rebuilding fund can go to MissionE4 at:

Mission E4 - Disaster Relief
39 Burnshirt Rd., Suite N
Hubbardston, MA 01452
Phone: 978-820-1190

Also you can donate online using Paypal, with the link on the main page: http://www.missione4.com/

I am helping out with the child sponsorship program, but mostly locally at specific events but they have some children looking for sponsors online aswell. I saw first hand the money going to use as they run the school through the summer to ensure the kids eat then too. It covers the uniforms, books, all of the school overhead costs, and food for $30 a month. They go through the program till 6th grade and if they pass the government test go on to public schools after that.

Its more of a commitment than a one time donation but that is why helping MissionE4 with the reconstruction meant so much more. Its great to give a country in need new schools but if they can not afford to hire teachers and keep it running it does no good. Here I knew the schools we helped fix will be used and maintained.

I will post a more complete update this weekend hopefully.

For me this is what it was all about, got to meet my sponsor child and seeing how much hope she had with how little money it cost me a month made it all worth it.
