I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I use this little camera for all my web photos, ...
...
...

I dropped my new (then new, my first digital camera, Brown County 2007) Cannon SureShot 560 off my bike at 35mph. Watched it (in mirror) bounce and twirl a few times and then bounce off into the ditch. Went back and found it. THe case was apart and a circuit board hanging out.
My first thought was "Oh, No, all my film has been exposed to light. Ah.... Oh... wait... no... thats okay."
Found batterys here, the memory cartridge over there, and the battery compartment door was broke. Stuck the circuit board back in, snapped the case halves back together, put batterys and memory card back in, taped the battery compartment door shut, and have been using it for the 5 years since. Is banged up on most every corner, and scratched up on both sides, flash galss is cracked, but it works.

Ew, ew, is an analog clock tower in town in church bell tower. But, ah, never mind, dont have bike today.

Ah, Ah, have picture from last year of bike at county court house, that has an analog clock har har har No, I will not use that.

Clock tower.

Clock tower.

One clock tower, not as nice, but we're a quaint little town.

Next tag an equsetrian center. Jumping gates.

I wish it didn't snow this morning. :( I was supposed to pick up my bike from the shop today. And I keep seeing so many tags that I know exactly where to go.

riddle me this, does it have to be a suki in the pic? or can you say, have a honda or yammy (im all gs baby, but absolutely none of my riding buddies are, and i think they would enjoy this)

Several members here have turned there backs on these GS Suzuki's yet still play even though they should be on other forums. :(
I personally don't think that it is even close to being fair to the guys/girls that have persevered and kept these bikes running.
A slap in the face so to speak.
If there is a vote, I vote for the bike to at least be a SUZUKI of some model in the picture for the tag to count. :dancing:

After all is this site Yamaha, Kawasaki, Triumph, etc. resources?

Sure, why not? You will have your Suzuki in there with the others right?

After Cowboy has put up with the wind knocking his bike off the front porch and cleaned every little scratch and repaired every little messed up piece,
I can't believe that he would like anyone who can just buy a newer running bike participate in a GS riding game.

We all actually have to try and keep these running not just buy them running.
Anyone can do that.
I guess that no one would mind me playing the game on an Aprilia, Triumph or Honda?
How would that be fair????

Eric

I don't think they should be playing alone, but if yall are all together riding then throw them in the photo as well. I kinda agree with Eric this is a GS site, kind of the point of having it. No reason you could'nt start your own game between your group.

understandable. looking forward to playing.

I like to include as many people as possiable that said I like to see pics of old gs bikes. I play the game on another sites too. I in my humble opinion would like to keep it as gs only as much as we can. There are lots of sites to play the game but we are a gs site and we should stay as true to that as possiable.

Welcome...
Any and all bikes are welcome...they have been since the game started in April of 2010...
Ignore anyone that says different

Eric, stop it...you're sounding like a whinny little kid...
Most people here like bikes, most people here like to ride, most people here like each other and don't judge them by the bike they ride...
Try not to ruin what has been a great game for the last two years...

You are welcome to leave the game if it doesn't meet your approval.:)

After all is this site Yamaha, Kawasaki, Triumph, etc. resources?
Yes, it often is...questions get asked and answered about other fine makes all the time...deal with it.

You have a GS and so does the guy asking, but his friends don't, so I see Erics point.

Eric said, "Several members here have turned there backs on these GS Suzuki's yet still play even though they should be on other forums."

We have many, long time members on this forum that used to have a GS, but now they don't...so what...??
They still belong to this community...they still belong because this is the best motorcycle forum out there...and we are talking about excluding them?
It's the people that make this forum great, not the bikes...the bikes just brought us together...

If they join the forum and they are members of the GS Resources forum they can play...
Go back to page 1 and read this thing...one of the first tags had a Harley in it.

Rules are easy...
Find a SIMILAR tag and reproduce the photo (as best as possible). Take the tag to a new location, get the photo and post it here.
Upon posting your new tag, the tagger is responsible for specifying what it is in the photo that must be reproduced. Be specific, but not so specific that no one else will be able to play because we couldn't find another pink school bus.
Try to place the tags in interesting locations, objects or places that could probably be found in at least the majority of NYS Counties.
The first person to post a found tag gets to place the next tag. If you get a tag, but somebody else posts their picture first, you lose.
One tag at a time within thread. File photos are NOT permitted. You gotta ride to play this game.
No whining There are plenty of folks here that will help you understand the rules
The holder of the tag determines if the tag has been duplicated and acknowledges it by posting on the thread. (Surrendering the Tag)
No Pre-Arranged Tag Handoffs / Linear Tag sequence
The motorcycle in the picture must get to the tag location under its own power (The vfr870 rule).
Last but not least, should the tag be soo ridiculous that no one is able to reproduce it, it can be voted down if a majority of the active participants feel necessary.
A new tag must be placed within 48 hours of getting the old tag.
Here are the rules.

Ok cool, so i think the general consensus is doesn't matter what bike. not like there is money on the line or anything. ill throw the idea out there and if they want to play i will invite them to play.

Yes, I am INSULTED because of simple things like this.
The bike that I rode TODAY to get the tags, looked like this two years ago:

thDSC01036.jpg

It currently has 4 things that, according to those that have given up, say don't work with these bikes.
4-valve exhaust system, CV carbs with pod air filters, CV cards without paying for some after-market kit to make them work
and anti-dive front forks.

Next tag, Fire Dept.

QUITTERS, buy another bike!

There are hundreds of other forums for those "other" bikes!

Eric

BTW, I had owned and still do, a Suzuki GS since 1980.
The next tag, I'll take a car, same thing, right?

kb_air, one of the best things about this forum is we welcome all motorcyclists, no matter their bent. Be it chopper, cafe, Hardley, Yamahahaha, it really does not matter. We love to ride. I have ridden with all brands, even as exotic as Aprillia and MV Agusta. And I have found through personal experience that we all share a common thread: the love of riding. I personally welcome some fresh blood, so to speak.
