A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Wishing you a MUCH improved year and praying for you as well.

Maybe tag?

Maybe tag?

Not sure if this meets the tag, but they are solar panels and they are on a roof top. We have more of the water heating solar panels than the electricity producing type. Less damage from the storms and cost replacement factors in play down here. I guess.

As soon as I get a couple of OKIEDOKIES I'll post the next tag.

New tag!

New tag!

Since were kinda on a green energy kick here and I was asked about one in the electric bike store tag. The next tag is an Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station. Most of the ones I've seen have a 2 hour parking limit. Hope that's enough to getcha where you need to go!

This will answer the question of how do you pay for it.

Major credit cards and roumer has it, that if you contribute to President Obama"s re-election campain, you get an unlimited charging voucher card, at tax payer expence of course.;)

And free food, housing, medical, citizenship, etc. ;)

I google searched for electric car charging stations and I'll be damned!
We actually have ONE in Reno!
Actually, two at the same location.

Eric

I guess that I am going to have to wait before going to look for this tag. :(
I went to grab my camera to take some pic's of some GS parts for a new member in need and
discovered that I left it under the seat in the one car that my wife decided to take to the store. :o

Come on, who is going to beat me? I'll post my pic's anyway, of course. :)

Eric

Apparently there are no Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations in NH. I assumed you just plugged into your garage at night or at work somewhere? I'm not considering an electric car, but didn't think about the charging station issue because the hybrids just use both gas and batteries. :-k

Excellent tag ! Everybody probably has one. But I'd be willing to bet none of us knows where they are.;)

Did a Google search and found out there was one 15 miles from me. Rode over there only to find out they were planning on putting one in but decided not to. Crap.

While we are on the topic of green energy, how about a green building that is also a head office? Bonus points if it is a certified LEED building. Lots of room to be creative with this tag.

This one (Mountain Equipment Co-Operative Head Office) was built a while back, before LEED was in full force, and since 2005 the company has made it a mandate that any new building will be built with the intention of acquiring LEED certification:

The louvers on the outside of the building open and close automatically in response to the sun, to either heat or shade the building as necessary. I'm not sure why they are open at the moment:

Looks like a building to me. How would know if one is green or "Leed"? (whatever that means)

A lot of Cooperatives are, my electric company is considered green, might be leed...I'm guessing that's a certification of some kind based on their ecological footprint or some tree hugging BS...:D Excuse me while I go baby seal hunting.:rolleyes::p:-$
