A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Yea they don't call us cheese heads for nothing. Larry the Cable Guy was in town filming for an only in America episode, they stopped in a local pub for lunch. Had him sample a locally made specialty cheese sandwich, grilled Limburger and onion on dark rye, Baumgardners in Monroe WI makes them on Wednesdays for lunch. See Larry's reaction http://www.history.com/shows/only-i.../videos/cheesehead-charity#cheesehead-charity They stink to hi heaven, but the local Swiss like them.

FYI: The only cheese factory in the USA to make Limburger cheese is about 9 miles from mi house. Chalet cheese. http://www.eatwisconsincheese.com/wisconsin/artisans/Results.aspx?artisan=16

I've bought cheese here made by Tillamook Farms. lol I think its offered at the Aldi Supermarket chain.

I bought some Gummi Bears that were made in Australia, packaged in China and sold from a distributor in Georgia before.
And they were only .50 for a 5 ounce package!
Just HOW CHEAP is food to be made that it costs LESS for it to travel around the Globe?

But, if we send a GS part just across a few state lines/ a thousand miles, it is VERY EXPENSIVE to ship!

current tag- Cheese Factory

current tag- Cheese Factory

....this is getting as bad as when I mentioned fish the other day, and the thread spiraled out of control. ha ha
I guess there is time to kill till the cheese photo arrives.

Baumgardners in Monroe WI

Have been there a few times. Good eats. Big fan of the products of New Glarus as well, but that may be a tag for a different day.

I'm too close to Cheesehead land and spend too much time there to avoid this one. Would like to jump on this tag but not sure about today's weather.

Thanks, the first one wont pull up m my phone. The WPDairy I'll give a try after work, but I don't expect to see a plant there. That area used to be rural, but has been run over by subdivisions. And WP is kinda artsie fartsie, so don't expect much by way of a cheese factory. Since Larry the Cable Guy grew up a few miles north of me, I might have a better chance of takeing a photo of him cutting the cheese. lol Somebody get the cheese pleese.

If he rides to my house I'll ride my bike back with him. Its only a short 25 hrs in each direction.:cool: If he leaves now we should be back in Orlando mid afternoon on Sunday.

Nobody rides on the back of my bike, but my old lady. Unless I'm ready for a new old lady. Stop trying to get me in dutch with my chickie. BETWEEN YOU AND ERIC, I wont have to worry about my bikes getting me the boot. Now back to business, LB McCloud is an industrial area and sounds like the better chance of a proper tag. Warning though, it's right down the street from Universal Studios and a bunch of other attractions. The next tag will be a tourist trap of some kind.

I have a stupid phone it went to public school. I'll delete the double post later.

So, the next tag is your bike in the hull of a nuclear submarine?

Eric
What a coup that'd be if one could pull it off...I met a welder/rider who worked on Boomers in dry dock. He might be able to get that tag.

btw, that wee red bike in BCCAp's tag is the little pony from my stable. Good little Rebel. Fun bike for around the city. Insurance runs out at midnight, and I had to redo the MST because ICBC loves jerking drivers around, so it got to stretch it's legs.

Scardillo Cheese.

The next tag is a gift, plaque, or any kind of recognition of your sister city. This is a gift from Kushiro Japan., Burnaby's sister city. Carved by the Ainu as a gift to commemorate goodwill.

I tried ! But the guy at the gate had no sense of promoting Canadian American relations. Sheesh....:D

Interesting tag, I had to google Cleveland only to find out we have several cultural sister cities, but could only find one with a gift and plaque, but I hate riding into the city, and it's not particular a nice area either...so we'll see.

The Scardillo Cheese factory. Makes Italian cheeses. No idea what's in those tanks. Cheeze Whiz?

So much for Google and Florida Cheese. One Winter Park Dairy. A field and 6 cows, and to the left of where I was a for sale sign.

Orlando has nine sister cities and nothing but a pole with directional signs pointing in the cities direction. I'm out, I guess I'm to uncultured to care to dig farther.
